I just heard this term recently. A cyber slacker is a person who is spending time goofing off on the web rather than working, as in cyber slacking.

I’m sure you’ve never been guilty of this (ahem) but I sure have. Some folks call this “shiny object syndrome” where we go rushing off to look at — and often buy — the latest marketing fad that we think is going to be the answer to all our marketing problems when what we’re really doing is just compounding the problem by not getting anything productive done.
