Hi, I’m Marty Marsh.

I’ve been self-employed for more than 30 years — first as a graphic designer, then as a coach and teacher of the Law of Attraction for business and life.

People often tell me they feel like they’ve known me forever just from reading my newsletters or emails. One woman once even left me a voicemail asking if I was “a real person.”

When I called her back, we ended up talking like old friends. That’s the kind of connection I love — real conversations with real people who are building meaningful lives and businesses.

From Ink to Inspiration

I’ve had ink in my veins since I was 13, when I bought my first printing press with money I made from a hot-dog stand that my dad let me set up to sell food to his farm workers. From then on I was hooked on being an entrepreneur.

Then, after earning a B.S. degree in printing management, I landed what I felt like was my dream job — part of the start-up team for USA Today, the first full-color national newspaper. Those were exciting days, and I got to travel all over the USA plus Mexico and the Caribbean, but after 13 years I realized I wasn’t made for corporate life.

In 1995, I walked away from that job and started my own design and marketing business. That’s when I discovered the magic that happens when creativity and strategy meet intention. I wasn’t just making things look good — I was helping clients attract real results.

Printing taught me craftsmanship. Design taught me communication. But entrepreneurship taught me courage — and how to turn ideas into reality.

Discovering the Law of Attraction (and Rediscovering Myself)

Like many of us, I didn’t always believe in the more “woo-woo” side of life.

When I first heard about Esther Hicks and Abraham, I was skeptical. (Okay — downright resistant.) But once I got over myself, I realized I’d been studying those same principles for years through the writings of people like Napoleon Hill, Jim Rohn, and Wallace Wattles — they just didn’t call it the Law of Attraction.

In the early 2000s, I trained directly with Michael Losier and Rebecca Hansen, becoming a certified Law of Attraction Coach and Practitioner. I soon began teaching how to apply these principles not just for personal growth, but for business success.

But, there was a time when I completely lost my way — when fear and scarcity took over, and my business nearly disappeared.

And like J.K. Rowling said, hitting rock bottom turned into the solid foundation I needed to rebuild. Returning to deliberate Law of Attraction practice helped me not just recover, but thrive — and to teach others how to do the same.

The Birth of Great Living Today

I first dreamed of Great Living Today decades ago — back when newsletters were printed, stamped, and mailed. I wanted it to be a source of inspiration and community for people who believed in living consciously and creatively. But bacck then, I couldn’t seem to get it off the ground.

Today, however, that dream lives on as the Great Living Today Newsletter — a free, PDF digital newsletter filled with stories, reflections, and tools for living a joy-filled, intentional life. It’s also where I started sharing printables — journals, and planners and checklists through Printables by Marty, all designed to help you stay inspired and aligned.

  • My husband Bill and I spent nearly six years traveling the U.S. full-time in our RV, living the life we’d visualized for years.

  • I’m a proud “Papa” to a wonderful grandson named Ben. He’s a daily reminder of how joyful life can be when you follow what feels good. (I sure do love that boy!)
