StackofBooksColorfulHiResSmallThere never seems to be enough time to read all the good stuff that I want to, and too often, I have two or three (or more, Yikes!) books going at one time.

I read a lot of stuff that’s inspirational and good for me, and in my off hours, I love a good trashy novel. Or a spy or political thriller, mysteries of just about any kind.

I’m currently reading these: The Rebel’s Guide to Email Marketing by DJ Waldow and Jason Falls; Convert by Ben Hunt; and for fun, a book gifted to me for my birthday by our son, Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. (Hilarious, but then, I have a unique sense of humor.)

I’ve been entrenched for way too long doing (and teaching) marketing stuff the way things are typically done, and I’m discovering more unique ways to market my business.

All three of these books fall into that “shaking things up” category.

If you read them yourself, I would love to know what you think and if you apply anything you learn from them to your own business.

The last book on that list will likely teach you either how to be a crazy person or learn that it is okay to be a crazy person.

And really, who’s to say what the definition of crazy really is. Right?
